This just has some great vibes all around - from the energy of 56th Floor and Symphony of the ironic sympathy to the gentle, laid back Soul Keeper - it’s worth the time to listen to it all. potaytoes

Nothing new here, they are not reinventing the wheel. Classic seventies rock n roll. Even thought it's been done before, Cosmic Engine does it so well. You can hear the band having fun and enjoying what they do. Transports me to a time when life was simple. This is a feel good recording. lloydd

Combining crooned murder ballads with raw, angsty hard rock hooks, Melbourne's The Ugly Kings are a wrecking crew well worth watching. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 15, 2021

Well-recorded, good singing, songwriting, grooves, guitar playing. I'm not a super metal guy and this has enough energy to be punchy but it's still jammy and relaxed at times. microwavewalrus
